A7ii how to fix EYE AF ?
Hi guys,
I can't find how to set upwards my autofocus. I managed to set a custom button to Eye AF but I have to keep pushing it that's correct ? I'm non sure I understand how to use it. I mean, I focus on my subject with the shutter push button one-half pushed and I kinda expected the Middle AF to comport the same. I notice it hard to push button two different buttons at the same fourth dimension.
Thoughts ?

I don't have an A7 2 so can't requite you a direct answer.
What you described is how A7III used to acquit, and simply updated on shutter car heart focus later on firmware 3.0 update, I incertitude they have/will introduce this characteristic to A7II.

You don't need to proceed the shutter half pressed afterward pressing the Heart AF push button. Once the camera detects a face simply the Eye AF push needs to be pressed to focus on an eye. Yous do demand to fully press the shutter to take the picture.

Y'all don't demand to keep the shutter half pressed later pressing the Centre AF button. Once the photographic camera detects a confront but the Centre AF push needs to exist pressed to focus on an heart. Y'all do demand to fully press the shutter to accept the picture.

The Eye AF button works just similar any other ways of activating focus in AF-S. Once focus is accomplished standing to printing information technology doesn't do anything. If you release information technology and printing it again it refocuses once.

The heart AF on the A7II does not work in AF-C. Eye AF in AF-South is not very useful.
A7RII, A7III do eye AF in AF-C so it keeps looking for an eye even if it doesn't see one at first so tries to track it.
